Senior Backend Engineer (TypeScript / Postgres)

About the role

You will own services that move millions of investor records, enrichment events, and search queries every day. Stack: TypeScript, Postgres, Supabase, edge workers, and a meaningful amount of SQL.

What you'll do

• Design and ship backend services in TypeScript on edge runtimes.
• Architect Postgres schemas, indexes, and RLS for multi tenant data.
• Build and operate ingestion pipelines from third party data providers (IDI, enrichment vendors).
• Drive observability, error budgets, and on call quality.
• Partner with product on platform features (search, exports, AI matching).

What you bring

• 6+ years building production backend systems.
• Deep TypeScript and SQL (Postgres preferred).
• Experience designing schemas for large datasets (100M+ rows).
• Comfort with edge / serverless runtimes (Cloudflare Workers, Vercel, Supabase Edge).
• Strong sense of API design and security.

Nice to have

• Prior fintech, search, or data intelligence experience.
• Experience with vector search (pgvector, Pinecone, Weaviate).
